Amerikan Sinema Sanatları ve Bilimleri Akademisi tarafından 1929 yılından itibaren verilen ve bu yıl 93. kere sahiplerini bulacak olan Akademi Ödülleri’nin adayları açıklandı. Sinemanın en itibarlı mükafatları olarak bilinen Oscar’ın adayları, oyuncu Priyanka Chopra ve müzisyen eşi Nick Jonas tarafından internetten canlı yayınlanan bir programla duyuruldu.
Pandemi nedeniyle 28 Şubat’tan 25 Nisan’a ertelenen Oscar Ödül Merasimi, Hollywood’daki 3400 koltuklu Dolby Tiyatrosu’nda yapılacak.
